  1. Call to Order- Berry, Robinson, Williams present
  2. Approved and Signed Warrant #10-2025 for General Government
  3. Approved Meeting minutes from May 6, 2025 unanimously as written
  4. New Business
    a. Cemeteries discussion
    i. Account for Snow Cemetery
    ii. Hire someone to repair and clean stones
    iii. Priscilla Mallory stated that Sherri Martin was cleaning them.
    b. An aside – Berry asked about Thanksgiving meals that used to put on by
    the town via a donation. Priscilla has assumed that responsibility and is
    taking care of that. Town is off the hook.
    c. Property Tax Update – information
    i. Liens – 47
    ii. Notice of Foreclosure – 3
    iii. Payment Plan Agreement – Selectmen reviewed and signed 2
    agreements thus far – Hinkley & Darling
    d. Dangerous Building Hearing set for 06/03/2025
  5. Old Business
    a. American Flags delivered –
    i. Place one at each cemetery
    b. Bid for Soffits & and window casing.
    i. Approved the bid from Bangor Abatement
    c. Website- information
    i. Logo Chosen
    ii. Domain address – TownofWinn.org
    d. Road projects update
    i. Road signs taken off two weeks ago
    ii. Phillips Road paving approved unanimously – $192,000 which
    will reduce TIF balance to approximately $100,000. Selectmen
    noted that more money will be available in September and
    December.
  6. D&D Paving wants to know when to start
  7. Williams stated that Phillips Road is in bad shape
  8. Section in front of Marilyn Webb’s needs dug out @ an extra
    cost.
  9. D&D will send an estimate for the additional work for the
    Webb section ($1,000) and patching the Town Office
    ($4,000).
  10. Public Comments
    a. Frank Moors –
    i. Is there a veteran’s account? Yes
    ii. How can we utilize it? Submit a request to the Town Office.
    iii. Has Sunrise gotten their salt out of the shed?
  11. Selectmen unsure, will need to follow-up with Bion Tolman.

b. Priscilla Mallory –
i. David Gordon was given a personal property tax abatement, what
for? This had to do with an old business and was never taken
care of in the TRIO system.
ii. CSX has an awful mess near the railroad tracks near Old Military
Road,

  1. Selectmen Comments
    a. Tank at the back of the property is going to be put up for sale
    b. What is the interest in recreating the recreation department?
    i. What activities would individuals want?
  2. Ball Diamond
  3. Basketball Court
    ii. Gayle Williams stated that there are grants for small towns
    available.
