- Call to Order – Berry, Robinson and Williams present
- Approved and Signed Warrant #11- 2025 for General Government
- Approved Meeting minutes from May 20, 2025 unanimously
- New Business
a. Flying Flags Discussion
i. Dates – - Fly from Flag Day to just after July 4 th
- Fly again for Labor Day
ii. Where – - Lower – 3
- East Winn – 3
- Potterbrook – 3
- Main St
- Route 2
- Snow Cemetery – 2
b. School Board Meeting update – the budget meeting went fairly well with
just a 2.8% increase, but also discussed the $140,000 contingency fund
they want to set up in the event that funding from Maine and the Federal
Government is delayed.
i. Robinson voiced frustration with the School Board in that after
the budget vote after most of the public had left there was a
discussion about a bus garage. The timing lacked transparency.
c. Town of Lincoln bill – Selectmen refused to pay bills for EMS non-
transfer for 2023 and 2024 as the Town of Winn did not have a contract
with them during that timeframe. Treasurer to send an email to Town of
Lincoln stating that.
d. Contract for Road work extras – approved unanimously and signed by
Williams
i. Extras include
- $1,000 to repair section of Phillips Road where an old
culvert had been. - $4,000 to patch the Town Office parking lot
e. Set Date for Special Town Meeting – set for July 15 th .
f. New Sexton – Robin Norris and her husband have agreed to be the
Cemetery Sexton. Robert Berry will set up a meeting with Robin to
discuss. - Old Business
a. Award of Soffits & and window casing bid – contract signed by
Selectmen - CEO Report – order incorrect and moved to Executive Session after regular
meeting adjourned.
a. Dangerous Building Hearing – Hinkley - Public Comments
a. 911 Addressing – some citizens slow in implementing resulted in a delay
in an ambulance reaching an individual with a medical emergency.
Citizens reminded that they need to post their new addresses. - Selectmen Comments
a. Berry – looking for volunteers to participate on a
